Our Clinicians
Our clinicians provide deeply individualized care, meeting each client where they are. Grounded in a somatic framework, our approach honors the mind-body connection as an essential part of the healing process. In addition to somatic practices, our team integrates a range of evidence-based therapy modalities—such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness-based interventions—to tailor support to each person’s unique needs. This flexible, integrative approach allows us to create a personalized path toward growth, resilience, and lasting change.
LAURA QUINONEZ, LCSW
Primary Therapist
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) 138697, in California and a Certified Trauma Professional. I provide trauma-informed, holistic therapy for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the lasting impact of childhood experiences. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens when we feel seen, supported, and empowered to reconnect with our inner strength.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, somatic awareness, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, and family systems approaches to help clients better understand patterns, regulate emotions, and move toward meaningful change. I do not believe therapy is about “fixing” you; rather, it is about creating space to heal, grow, and live more fully as your authentic self.
I have extensive experience working with adults in rural and underserved communities, including individuals processing complex trauma, grief, relationship stress, and identity exploration. I am committed to providing affirming care for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals and allies, and I strive to create a space where all parts of your experience are welcome.
I earned my Master of Social Work from California Polytechnic State University, Humboldt in 2022. I provide Telehealth therapy throughout California through Weaving Clarity, where healing begins with curiosity, connection, and compassionate support.
JESUS MENDEZ CARBAJAL, APCC
Primary Therapist
My counseling education and clinical experience has taught me that healing happens in relationships: with ourselves, with each other and with the earth. I understand that while the issues we face as individuals are personally experienced, they are also connected to larger social systems and their impact extends beyond ourselves. Working with me means receiving trauma-informed and culturally responsive connection, attentive support and genuine authenticity.
I have experience working with adults and couples including community college students, 2SLGBTQPIA+ folks, BIPOC folks, immigrants and children of immigrants, neurodiverse people and first time to therapy clients. I can support you with mood and anxiety disorders, identity development, transitions, stress and school/work life balance, among others. My approach to therapy is informed by person-centered, experiential, and internal family systems theories as well as mindfulness and spirituality as appropriate.
Since August 2024, I have also been trained in Brainspotting, Phase 1. Brainspotting is a bottom up therapy that can help process many experiences or symptoms, big, small or somewhere in between; with and without words. To learn more about Brainspotting you can visit: https://brainspotting.com.
I graduated in 2020 with a Master of Science in Counseling from San Diego State University’s Community-Based Block Multicultural Community Counseling and Social Justice Education program.
I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), registration number 8347. I practice in California and am supervised by Naomi Duffy, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), 117210, Licensed Master Social Worker, (LMSW) 109755.
QUINCI MONTOSA BOYD, AMFT & APCC
Primary Therapist
I support adults through life’s challenges and transitions with a flexible, trauma-informed, and tailored approach. I work with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and provide care that is affirming of gender, sexuality, and neurotype diversity. Many of my clients are navigating relational stress, anxiety, periods of change, or feeling stuck in familiar patterns.
I view therapy as a partnership, where you are the expert of your own experiences. I meet you where you’re at, offering guidance and practical tools, as we work together to discover what feels right for you.
My work blends relational, meaning-centered exploration with practical, skill-based strategies to help clients build insight, understand patterns, and develop skills for managing emotions, relationships, and daily life. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Narrative Therapy to explore personal stories, Family Systems to understand relational dynamics, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to build practical coping skills, and Somatic Experiencing to support body awareness and regulation.
Therapy with me is real, human, and sometimes messy, while also offering space for growth, understanding, and connection. Your quirks, questions, and contradictions are welcome, and much of our work involves exploring the beliefs, stories, and emotions that shape how you relate to yourself and others.
I hold an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) registration 158168, and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), registration 21093, in California and am supervised by Naomi Duffy, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), 117210, Licensed Master Social Worker, (LMSW) 109755.

NAOMI DUFFY, LCSW, LMSW
Certified EMDR Supervisor and EMDRIA CIT
It has been my experience that there is a human desire to be seen and heard. My priority is to create a space for you to freely share your thoughts and feelings. My hope is, with time, we can come together to better understand the source of the emotions you’re experiencing. My intention is to walk with you on the journey of knowing yourself. I strongly believe in open curiosity paired with synergy which is a bedrock to a trust-based relationship. I aspire to aid you in building on your own strengths and learn additional skills that empower you to better manage life’s challenges.
I use a psychodynamic and trauma focused approach within the context of attachment theory and Irvin Yalom’s existential perspective. I work primarily with clinical professionals who are seeking personal therapy to assist in their growth path. I also support couples and polycules in complex relationship dynamics. My style is incredibly direct and even sometimes difficult to hear; it is paired with a deep sense of care and candor while focusing on the underlying issue.
My background is in working with complex trauma and substance misuse. I specifically specialize in treating feelings of “never being enough”, “being too much”, and “I can’t be myself”. I am certified in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as often integrate ego-state, IFS-informed, somatic and mindfulness techniques in collaboration with my clients as warranted.
I obtained my Master’s degree from New York University Silver School of Social Work. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, 117210 and Supervisor in the State of California and practice only in California. I also hold a Licensed Master Social Worker, 109755 in the State of New York.
